What is the most important lesson you learned at Bowie State University?

In my last 3.5 years, I learned that procrastination is not the key to success. I also learned that if you want something, you have to strive for it. It is not just going to be handed to you.

Describe a significant obstacle you overcame to graduate from Bowie State.

I took summer classes every summer in order to meet my goal of graduating early.

Which professor or class had the most profound impact on you? Why?

There is not one professor that I can choose. All of my major professors had a significant impact on me and my studies and helping prepare me for the next step after graduation.

Describe the activity that was the most helpful in preparing you for your future goals.

I think coaching cheerleading while in school helped me prepare a lot for my goals. It showed me that I could pursue something I enjoyed while continuing my education and receiving good grades.

What are your plans now that you are graduating?

My plan is attend law school next fall studying criminal law or international law.
